For thrillers, Jenny Milchman is fabulous. Her novels are unrelenting suspense. I was just lucky enough to interview her for my podcast, if you want to check her out: http://destinationmystery.com/episode-40-jenny-milchman/

He’s my fav author. His mind is just brilliant, he knows exactly what keeps my intrigued, there’s always a twist and no matter how hard I tried , at the end I’ll be surprised …. u should read more of his books

0
Arya

Unfortunately not yet because I couldn’t get a copy

0
Arya

U should definitely read it , and as a beginning I highly recommend :
The vanished man
A maiden’s grave
The coffin dancer
And the collection of short stories ” twisted”

0
Arya

Not series The vanished man and the coffin dancer with the same brilliant detective Lincoln Rhyme but different cases ..A maiden’s grave is another story with other detectives

Am i the only one not to have read Peter James, he seems a popular choice.

2
Reply
Correne

James has lost the plot, I am sad to say. I do not enjoy expressing negativity. However, whilst I enjoyed some of his earlier works I have found that his recent work is simply churned out. Money and fame is more important than quality and self-respect.

1
Angela

I haven’t either but I definitely plan to. He seems popular and well recommended

0
Micaela

Yeah agreed @Angela

1
Micaela

@Correne so do you suggest I start with his earlier stuff?

0
Beau

I don’t think this is true Brian Oldham

0

You really will enjoy some of the early work. 🙂

1

1

0

Start with Dead Simple that’s the first for Detective Roy Grace, you’ll definitely enjoy them

1
Iain

Not read him either. But so many good authors out there you can’t read them all lol

1
Correne

Yes. Individual books were good. I enjoyed Possession. The fist few in the Roy Grace series were very good.
