It depends. If I’ve read more than half of it, I’ll try to push through. But if I’m not enjoying it at all, I walk away.

If I start dreading reading because I hate it so much, I’ll DNF. That has only happened twice ever, plus one book that was so heavily dialect that I didn’t even understand what I was reading. If I’m just a little bored I push thru.

I usually give myself up until a certain point and if things dont pick up or arent explained, I’ll DNF.

I’ll skip ahead some chapters to see if it peaks my interest at all before I give up completely.

Depends on the book. Some books I know when starting they might be a struggle, but I really want to read them. This is more typical of nonfiction. So I trudge through and in the end I am very happy I read the book.
