Anyone publish a book? Or was it a hobby novel?
I always get confused on the difference between a novel and book. The one I self-published is about 154,000 words. It falls under the genre of science fiction.
24. I now have 4 published novels.
34, it was a safety manual for the offshore oil industry. I now have 12 novels published.
First published, 28.
Wrote my first book at 6 about a bumble bee. Had a young adult book published at 21.
I published my first one at 43.
Had two miscarriages, followed by the most beautiful twins in the middle of writing my first book ? Needless to say, it took YEARS to finish ?? (it also ended up being a little more than the light YA I had expected. Motherhood will do that to you :))

I’ll be 61 when mine comes out in April. Never too late!
I wrote my first one at around age 41. And I published my first one at 47. I’ve published 20 since. 🙂 So yeah…it’s been a fun career change.
40 – First written book, 56- first published book

I started at 60. I’m 69 now and working on the 4th book, and I have 240 short stories.
I was 60 years old, never give up!
I was 13, but that first book actually turned out to be thinly veiled self-insert fanfiction. I had no idea what fanfiction was back then, though.
I️ also wrote fanfic without knowing it existed. I️ just wrote about a show I️ liked.

@Toni Between new and old and reprints, I think eleven individual stories that are both traditionally and Indie published. 🙂

Nine. I️ did it in school. If I️ liked a classmate, then she’d be a good guy. If I️ didn’t, then the evil witch. The weird thing is that some were both. I️ think my mom still has it.
