So glad its not just me. I apparently bought a Beauty & The Beast retelling on Sept 2nd and I have no memory of it. ?♀️
Usually when I go to buy it again.
I have done that once of twice, but this particular book not only do I not remember buying, I cant imagine why I would’ve.

Not only did I buy something I never would have because its not my type of book, I apparently bought something that was 3rd in a series ?
Sometimes yes, and then other times they change the cover and I think it’s a different book.
Yeah or I’ll go browsing and think oh that sounds good and go to buy it and I’ve already bought it! I have a couple thousand books though so it’s an easy mistake to make!
I have gotten excited about sales & go buy the book only to realize I already own it. For certain authors I always check when there is a sale but this book I have NO idea why I bought it lol

At least Amazon tells me when I try to buy it again! I have come home more than once with books I already had, and some I had already read!
Frequently. And I find the book I was reading when I fell asleep has been replaced by another by the time morning arrives. How come?

Nope. All my books are in print. Can’t get past the old school feeling of having a book in hand and turning the page. I also love to watch my bookmark progress after I end a few chapters.

I have like 10 bookshelves on Goodreads to keep track of my paperbacks and kindles, especially because I once spent 2 days looking for a Kindle book I was sure I owned (remembered reading it) and it was a library loan ??♀️
