@Jennifer I find Shirley Jackson to be more subtle, Stephen King can be too, his books are all different x

@Michele it’s more atmosphere than anything I find, the idea of what is happening, it’s one of my favourites x

@Thérèse funny I thought for sure I had it in my stacks but when I looked I didn’t ? I borrowed it a while ago from the library but never got to it and had to return it because it was in such high demands I couldn’t check it out again. I think that’s why I thought I had it ??‍♀️

John said not to read it if I’m going to scare myself into a heart attack. He said I’ve got enough problems already!!?

Antonella

I am not into scary reads myself and I can safely say .. take breaks when it freaks you out 😀 !!! It’s worth it!
And read the ending during the day, not in the evening/at night and you’ll be fine 🙂 (not that the ending has a twist or is very terrible, but when left uncomfortable, you still have other stuff to do that distracts you)

Ooohhhhh I’m going to get that one too. Enjoy!
