I have read Fallen, Hush Hush, and The Immortals. Out of these, I have only completely read the Immortals series. I liked them all, but I just haven’t been interested in finishing the other two. They aren’t bad, everyone has their own taste!

I read house of night when i was much younger, probably 13 or 14 when i started it but i adored the series back then and read the entire thing, buying books as they came out. That being said I don’t know how I’d feel about them now

It’s hard to say since I haven’t reread, i remember they have some lgbt representation and a decent villain, she was always my favourite part. Honestly i’d say just take the first one out from a library if they have it and give it a try, if you don’t like it then don’t continue ☺️

House of night was pretty crap, the first book was an easy fun read but terrible characters and the teenage persona was bad. I couldn’t really get in to the 2nd book. But I read this only this year and at 34 so I think that’s why I didn’t like it.
Fallen was good and hush hush but I read these as a young adult.
The immortals I can’t remember.

@Isabella it was boring and full of unnecessities, I found book 3 to be totally unnecessary and for most of the series I was in the state of wtf is going on? and alot of stuff were left unexplained
The world building wasn’t that good either, it felt the author was just creating some random creatures just to add action

I thought House of Night was interesting at first but got worse and worse as it went on. A huge amount happens very quickly with little to no character development.

@Isabella I’d start off with a few and see how you feel about it. The first book came out over 10 years ago. But they have just started a second series that will only be 4 books long. The second just came out this year. I absolutely love it.

I read House of Night up to the middle of Burned. I liked them when I read them. But I read them as they came out. If i tried to read them now I don’t think they would be my taste anymore but at the time they were good.

I haven’t read all of the house of night but the ones I have read are really good
Don’t know about the others, but Hush Hush and The Immortals are both really not great. The writing Hush Hush is cringe from the very beginning and The Immortals starts off sorta of okay at certain points, but goes really downhill really fast. Edit just to say that i used to like Hush Hush but I reread it recently and literally thought I was reading a bad fanfiction or something.

And I have all of the HoN books except for the last two. If you like Vampires with powers and don’t mind a bit of cussing, it’s completely worth buying them all

The immortals is all about the main girl desperately trying to bang her bf. Fallen is really really good but nothing really compared to things like Watersong and ToG. After book like four or five of HoN I skimmed the rest barely. Dragged out waaay to long and far.

I liked house of night and fallen when I was younger but I doubt I would now, they both felt like immature love stories even at the time. Personal opinion ? I never finished either series, they both dragged towards the end

The Fallen series is ok. I had to DNF the Hush Hush series. The main character and her best friend are hella annoying. But if you get past that, they are fun books to read. I just read the first 2 in that series.

I’ve read most of the House of Night (got too ridiculous), The Immortals and Riley Bloom by Alyson Noel (I liked the Immortals and Riley Bloom but the Riley Bloom read a little more like middle grade), Hush Hush (loved the whole series!), and Fallen (was okay – didn’t live up to the hype for me). Never read Soul Seekers. Have you tried the Sweep series by Cate Tiernan? It was fantastic!!!

Sweep is 16 books long but they are shorter books. Probably one of the best series I’ve read.

I have the entire Riley Bloom series Immortal Series Soul Seekers series and all of the other series is to that you mentioned I’m only missing a couple of Alyson Noel’s contemporary novels and want to read every one of them because they sound incredibly good so I would say give them a try they’re probably going to be really good at least in my opinion anyways and happy reading to you
