I always wait til the last day of trainworks. The library does a pwyw day and I give them whatever cash i happen to have. I got 4 huge tote bags of books and some store bags for $3.
That’s cool. This sale covered every genre. At this particular store, kids always get free books when they come in! It’s my kids’ favorite weekend activity ???
They have a number of things that they give away. They have a ton of those readers digests condensed books that are always free as well ? it’s a great place! I love taking friends for their first time. Seeing their faces light up is so fun! On a normal day the books are between a quarter and a dollar. Never more than $1. I got a first edition gone with the wind for $1 last summer

And if they owned the truck that’s how they can sell books for ten cents…
The truck part was satire.
… my entire comment was just a joke.
Ah. The ellipses left that to question lol
a) ah, no, intended to indicate the pause before speaking the rest of the sentence.
b) and besides, I noticed the “almost” in your original post.
Ah. More research. Apparently in this usage, it’s not an “ellipsis”. Used this way, it’s referred to as a “suspension point” (or suspension points).
Ok…
????
We currently have a 10/$1 or 25¢ each book sale going on right now at our library.
