Not an iPad mini, batter runs out faster because it does so many things, and the screen isn’t gentle on the eyes

I like the nook color because it shows the page numbers and the kindle fire for the text to speech feature. The versions of both that I use are older models.

Kindle paperwhite. It uses e ink so it doesn’t hurt your eyes. Plus it is backlit so you never have to worry about a light. Durable and the battery lasts a long time. Plus it is light so when you drop it on your head from reading laying down it doesn’t hurt. Not that I would know from experience…… ?

I have a kindle fire and a standard kindle touch. I prefer the fire for games, shopping (you can see the book covers in full color), reading in the dark, and web browsing.

I much prefer the standard kindle for reading overall. It fits in my bag easily, is light and small, looks great to read, and there are no distractions.
