I’m on page 89… It’s interesting to me, but not fast paced. I’m going to stick with it though.

@Karen I know I’m a few pages behind you, but I’m hoping it picks up myself.

It’s not the best. It’s very slow going and honestly a little predictable. Girl on the train was way better.

It was awarded Goodreads best thriller of 2017 so I guess I thought it’d be better

I finished it, but it wasn’t my favorite. It did take a while to get into it. I just don’t think the characters were very engaging.

Did not finish. May try again at some point but it was so slow. And I didn’t enjoy the constant change in characters/POV.

That bothers me too! Seems to be this author’s style though.

I didn’t like that book at all. It took me forever to read it. It was a chore for me. I wanted to like it but just didn’t.

I didn’t try reading it because I couldn’t get into the show and dystopian novels aren’t my thing

We did it for book club sometime mid last year and no one hated it but no one thought it was great either. I think everyone thought there was too many characters and that it would play out better as a movie. I barely even remember reading it.

I loved it. The characters are hard to keep straight right at first, but it gets easier. I thought it was a really well done mystery, and a lot better than her first book.
