You’ve got a tough choice, I’d go with Outlander. You win either way.

The 2 series are fairly similar in terms of style. I guess it would depend if you prefer a story to be more romance driven or something less romantic and more politically driven. Outlander is definitely first and foremost a love story and about marriage over time. If that intrigues you. Then go with Outlander. But if you prefer straight fantasy that is more about the political machinations of a group of people, then go with Game of Thrones.

If Outlander is complete, Outlander… If it’s fans are waiting for the next book for in the series and it’s been 6 years, it doesn’t matter. GOT is AWESOME.

That’s like asking a mom to publicly name her favorite child. You can’t lose, either way.

I have read all of the Outlander books and loved them all. I am now on the second Game of Thrones book, and this series is very good too. But Outlander is number one. Start with Outlander then go to Game of Thrones.

There’s 5 books out right now for GOT and 8 books out for Outlander. Both are great series. GOT is incomplete I’m not certain about Outlander.

Game of Thrones. You could always try The House on the Strand by Daphne DuMaurier — first book I ever read with a plot about time travel — it’s great!
