He really is that good! His Roy Grace series is fab (best read in order, start with Dead Simple) and he has a whole collection of standalone novels too. Best get reading; you’ll wonder what took you so long to discover his books! ?

His Roy Grace series is fab but some of his stand alone novels are phenomenal. ‘The House on Cold Hill’ and ‘Sweet Heart’ are two of my favourite standalone Peter James books ?
I loved House on Cold Hill, just found Sweet Heart on my bookcase ? going to read that next x

His early books are horror/supernatural, very different to his RG books
I have only just discovered the Roy Grace books after my friend recommended them to me… Ive started from book 1 and have just completed book 2…bloody superb! Love that they are set on the South Coast and love the gritty Police procedural style. I start book 3 tonite! .
I am right up to date with the Roy Grace books, and they get better and better.
Well im just going to keep reading them luckily ebay means i can get them pretty cheaply! x

All excellent, the standalone books that are exceptional, in my opinion are Host, Alchemist, Twilight, The Truth, Faith and A twist of the knife (collection of short stories). All others are brilliant, but these stand out to me. RF series best read in order start with Dead Simple.

Roy grace series great. He also has a recent supernatural book the house on cold hill which was really good.
He is amazing, start with dead simple, u won’t be able to put them down, read them in order as well, I have met him as well , he is a nice guy too, happy reading x

When starting a new author I always start with the first book written and work my way through
Dead Simple, one of my favourite books. Read and im sure you will enjoy and be buying all the other Roy Grace books x
