British bookish novels I read last week that include love stories were How to Find Love in a Bookshop, The Bookshop on the Corner, and Mrs. Sinclair’s Suitcase.
The Light We Lost by @Jill Where We Fall by @Rochelle Everything We Keep and Everything We Left Behind by @Kerry Close Enough to Touch by @Colleen to name just a few. ???
@Cassi yep, and there’s even a third EVERYTHING WE GIVE, but I think release date is 2019. And there’s another standalone so there’s more brilliance coming from @Kerry ???
For contemporary love stories…Hear-Shaped Hack and White-Hot Hack by Tracey Garvis Graves. The Light We Lost by Jill Santopolo. Simplicity of Cider by Amy Reichert.
Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie for something with humor and a happy ending. Me Before You if you want something more bittersweet. I love Kresley Cole if you want to go vampires and witches and valkyrie. Kristin Higgins’ If You Only Knew is half and half. Man, Leo is to die for. I wept like a baby through A Bollywood Affair by Sonali Dev. Sarah MacLean for Regency historical. Outlander does have a great love story, but you’re going to have to wade through the first almost 200 pages to get there. Whew. Good luck, and happy reading!
