I got hooked on these a little while ago, end of Feb maybe. And I’m now on # 15. They really are hilarious.

@Caroline One advantage of being late to the game, I have a few more to read before the waiting starts. But I’m sure I’ll catch up soon at this rate

The most entertaining & memorable funny book of all time – Hold Me Closer Necromancer (and its sequel) by Lish McBride. Characters are lovable and both books have their own fabulous playlist. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/8041873-hold-me-closer-necromancer

Gave these books to a friend whose wife banned the books from their bedroom because he kept laughing out loud and waking her up.

And the classic hysterically silly books by Patrick McManus. Guy humor at its best. They actually can make you laugh so hard your chest hurts. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/364744.The_McManus_Treasury?ac=1&from_search=true

Freddy and Fredericka by Mark Helprin is that story where a fictional contemporary Prince and Lady (we knew who) so aggravated the Queen (we know her too) that she had them stripped and airlifted and parachuted unannounced into the US to force them to get along.
