@Beth ? now I get the title!

Beth

@Rebecca you didn’t understand it was the date?

0
Rebecca

@Beth I didn’t realize the significance of the date until it was tied to “assignation” then it became clear quickly. I don’t read Stephen King so I didn’t give it much thought. Now I’m actually intrigued as I do like history.

Carolyn

@Rebecca try it…the best of King!

2
Rebecca

@Carolyn cool! I’ll have to give it a try.

@Beth, I don’t read King either but the subject of this one intrigued me and I thoroughly enjoyed it

Denise

It’s not ‘scary’ King…..it’s actually really good.

1
Rebecca

@Denise thanks for letting me know. I think I’ll read it then.

Agree on I am Pilgrim. Also Orphan X by Gregg Hurwitz. It’s about a former assassin who quit and now helps innocent people in impossible solutions often by killing really nasty people. Great books

Look for Lawrence Bloch. He is best known for his series on a burglar, but his assasin books are equally amazing.

The ‘Mitch Rapp’ Series by Vince Flynn is about an assassin. The first book in the series is titled “American Assassin”. There are 18 books in the series. I’ve read the first 2 so far, and they were really good. Jack Reacher has killed a few…..that series by Lee Child is awesome too.
