The Good Earth by Pearl S. Buck was TREMENDOUS on audio! I had to have a 2 hour “lay flat on your back” test done at the hospital, and it kept me company the whole time. Then, I couldn’t wait until the next day to finish it off!

PS: It’s part of The House of Earth Trilogy, so I’m sure the other two books are great, too.

I listened on Hoopla app for free with my library card

Guernsey literary and potato peel pie Society. They use an actual cast of voice actors. It really comes alive.

The Chalk Man by CJ Tudor. The narrator made the story even better. He had the perfect voice for this book.
