I didn’t buy it so much as randomly grab it off of a shelf in the library. That’s a game for me when I want to try something new. The book was ‘Pied Piper’ by Nevil Shute. It was a really excellent book about World War II. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/107315.Pied_Piper
