The Alchemist is the only one I have read and I enjoyed it simplicity.
Ive read plenty of Coelho (like 7 books) but I almost always find his work weird, the ones I would recommend r ‘Like the flowing river’,’Manuscript found in Accra’ and ‘By the river piedra I sat down and wept’

I agree. The Alchemist was one of the very few books that I quit without finishing. I just couldn’t bring myself to read another page. I know it’s popular, and although it’s not my cup of tea, I’m happy for anything that’s a catalyst for folks to pause and reflect.
