I just finished Relish by Prue Leith. I bought it because I saw that she’d adopted a child from Cambodia who was only 6 months older than her toddler son at the time and I wanted to read more. Very good, so honest. She’s had quite the life!

These are more autobiographies, but I enjoyed them: On Leopard Rock by Wilbur Smith; Leslie Nielsen: The Naked Truth (more of a mock-autobiography, but as hilarious as the late actor); Born with Teeth by Kate Mulgrew; Kick Me: Adventures in Adolescence by Paul Feig; Born Standing Up: A Comic’s Life by Steve Martin; Twenty Five Mystery Science Theater 3000 Films That Changed My Life In No Way Whatsoever by Frank Conniff (focused autobiography, I guess? Funny if you like MST3K and/or RiffTrax); Wishful Drinking by Carrie Fisher (again a little more on the memoir/story based autobiography, but a fun read).

Let me preface this: I’m not looking to get into a political discussion. At all. But Michelle Obama’s book came out today and I’m really looking forward to starting it!

Also as mentioned above. Born a Crime was fabulous!
