Have you read any of the Robert Galbraith books? They are amazing. I’m also find of Kathy Reichs- her more recent book Two Nights was a good quick read.
Last one I read was pretty good, Murder on the Orient Express. Can’t go wrong with a classic. I am also a fan of Peter Robinson, who writes the DCI Banks books, and Michael Connelly, who writes the Harry Bosch series. Agree with the Robert Galbraith books, by the way, although I thought the third, Career of Evil was probably the best.

Agatha Christie and Anne Perry are good mystery authors!
Jeffery Deaver – you will not want to put one of his books down.
When The Bone Collector came out I read it nonstop and was hooked! ?
