That’s erotica not erotic romance. They are different categories.

@Dawn really? What’s the difference?

Antonella

Sleeping beauty is only about veeeery different creative ways of torturing people and somehow this turns them on. There is no actual romance going on.

@Antonella actually, there are a few minor romances throughout the entire works. Are you sure we are talking about the same books? I mean after all in the end she is with the love of her life!

I know she falls in love with a fellow prince slave, then with that Tristan (i did not finish the second book bc I was too annoyed by the weak story … I found myself wanting more depth in story and character. Even the heroine seems so shallow and the reader cannot follow as to why she acts the way she does. She loves her prince so much? Why does she leave him then? Doesnt make much sense to me. I was left with the impression that it was less about in depth characters and more about one super graphic sex torture scene after the other, just different settings and different characters .. much too quickly.

Of course we are talking about the same book. I can read O.o
The minor romances.. infatuations don’t put that whole series into the romance sector. There are way too many changes too quickly in order to work even as a romance erotica. At least that’s my understandig of a romance, but you may -of course- have a different idea of a romance novel.

I was going to ask the same. I hated 50 Shades but that’s because I didn’t enjoy the writing. It’s probably the only genre I know nothing at all about. Not to mention the fact it’ll brighten up these long winter nights ❤️ lol!
