Phyllis Whitney wrote romantic suspense, as well as mysteries for juveniles. Sometimes they’re difficult to find, but worth it, I think, if you can find them. My favorites were The Turquoise Mask, Woman Without A Past and Amethyst Dreams.
Jennifer Cruise. Don’t think I spelled it right, but she is hilarious! Same with Sue Civil-Brown. Her Life with Reily series is hilarious! Pic to follow. Romantic comedy is highly underrated and true laugh out loud treasures!
I just finished Never Let Go by @Elizabeth and it was a great romantic suspense!
I enjoyed Jenn Mckinlay’s romances (full disclosure – I’m not a big romance fan but gave them a try since I like her mysteries)

@Katharine if you have an e-reader they frequently have her books for $1.99. Sea Jade is my absolute favorite of hers.
M.J. Rose has many wonderful romantic suspense novels.
Meredith Schorr. The Boyfriend Swap is my fav her others are good too. Rom coms.

For romantic comedies, I always read anything by Sophie Kinsella. She creates really funny, likeable characters.
