@Lynda. No, it’s Bilbo’s party, which he throws to make turning the ring over to Frodo easier !

Oh! Of course!!! Don’t mind me! I forgot! In ‘The Hobbit’ they introduce the hobbit hole, and you’re shown around The Shire in the first 5 pages or so… in ‘LOtRs’ it’s Bilbo’s Elevenity-first’s birthday! Sorry, my mistake. I haven’t read it in a long time.
