I haven’t read a lot of Stephen King but his first short story book, I think, Night Shift was fantastic. Also his non fiction work is great.

Needful Things
Needful Things. The Shining. (Book is way better than movie.) Elevation (not scary). The Mr. Mercedes trilogy. Full Dark No Stars (short stories).
I loved Misery! I also have Pet Semetary and The Shining recommended to me all the time. They are on my list!
Short stories… The Long Walk is my favorite, Bachman books I think. Sleeping Beauty was very good as a newer one.
Pet Semetary is my favorite so far.
I read Duma Key and it was drawn out.
Mr Mercedes was good, I have only read 2 of the series.
I just ordered Cycle of a Werewolf (Silver Bulett) and can’t want to read it.

11/22/63 is my favorite so far. I’ll he reading The Shining after I’m done with A Dog’s Way Home.

@Victoria just finished Full Dark, loved Big Driver. It was one of the scariest short stories I’ve read in a long time
