Tasha Alexander’s books are pretty good, I think I read the first 5 in the series and enjoyed them but Deanna Raybourn’s Lady Julia Grey books are even better; start with Silent in the Grave
@Ashli, most of my books are mystery/suspense/thriller with a love story. If you’re interested, my standalones are Chloe’s Spirit, First Star, Blessed Are the Eagles, Loose Ends, Heaven Sent, Black Moon Rising, and Here and Gone.
I read one that was pretty good by Chevy Stevens called That Night. I think Mary Higgins Clark tends to include romance in her stories. Kathy Reichs does as well, to an extent. Ah and also Tess Gerritsen.
Pamela claire. Her I-team series is amazing.
Sandra Brown does write romantic suspense.
I don’t know how good they are, but I think Tasha Alexander’s books fit that description

I loved Brenda Joyce’s Deadly Series or Rhyss Bowen’s Molly Murphy Series.
