This is about a substitute teacher I had in Illinois. I had thought her stories were made up because my Polish family made up a lot. Then a few years ago, I stumbled on this and was lucky enough to help my step daughter complete a WW2 biography project on her. Anna’s son and daughter in law sent photos and additional information. This is an amazing story.
