CARRY ON BY RAINBOW ROWELL! captive prince by cs pacat (read the trigger warnings if you have any triggers) the cruel prince by holly black and my favorite anime has this premise with the main character too, if you’re into manga it’s called Inuyasha and it’s literally perfect

3
Reply
Hannah

@Valeria Inuyasha is sooooooo good!! It kind of spoils the story, you calling it forbidden love, though.

0
Valeria

@Hannah I know right?? It’s my absolute favorite!! And I didn’t call it forbidden love, op asked for a main romance that can’t stand each other at first but then fall in love and that’s literally the main pairing ? (I love them so much!!)

1
Hannah

@Valeria, yes. That does give away the plot, though.

I am not responsible for any series that become addictive
But on the plus side. All the books from each series have been released… no waiting for the next one??

1
Valerie

Can’t wait for the next book in the Rebel’s Blade series!!! Ah!

2
Kiah

@Valerie oh yeah! I forgot that one was still going ??
I can’t wait ?

1
Valerie

And thank you for the other recommendations. I have read Blood Oath… it wasn’t my fave, but it was quite a journey for sure. And of course anything by queen Maas is amazing. I will have to look into the other ones ?

1
Amy

@Kiah yes Rebel’s Blade

You should give Korean Dramas (tv shows) a try. That is the premise for like 80% of them and it’s like reading a book since it’s subtitled. No joke they are soooooo good! https://viki.com/ is a good place to start.

thank you! I saw one once and liked it but didn’t know where to look for more. So I’ll definitely check it out

Lie to Me ( The Korean show, not the Crime solving American Show) was really good. It was about a woman who was tired of everyone making fun of her for being so tied up with her career that she never settled down. So she lies and says she has a relationship with a business man that is known in what is like their version of Forbes. It’s a fun shenanigan filled show.

My favs are Goblin, Scarlet Heart Ryeo, and W!!! I watch kdramas everyday now, it’s my happy place!
