Mary Alice Monroe – many Trilogies all excellent: family, relationships, environmental concerns – Beach House series, & more http://maryalicemonroe.com/books/

Supposed to be a trilogy but due to popular demand she added a 4th- Winter Series by Elin Hilderbrand (Winter Street, Winter Stroll, Winter Storm and Winter Solstice)
The Millennium Trilogy by Steig Larsson. After his death David Lagercrantz has written 2 more books in this series and another one will be released in 2019. The Under Suspicion series co-written by Mary Higgins Clark/Alafair Burke is also excellent. I think there are 6 or 7 books in this series.
Maybe you’ve already read them, but if you haven’t, the Elena Ferrante quartet of novels are about 2 female childhood friends navigating school, love, politics, war.
