If he likes fiction – James Patterson and Bill Clinton have a new “thriller” called “The President is Missing.” I love anything by David Baldacci – and he has a new one – “The Fallen.” I am reading Chris Matthews “Bobby Kennedy” and loving it And I am reading the biography of Robin Williams called “Robin” by Dave Itzkoff. A fun memoir is an older one called “Blue Latitudes: Boldly Going Where Captain Cook Has Gone Before” by Tony Horwitz.
The Sympathizer by Viet thanh Nguyen if he is into Saigon and espionage. Great book. Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari and Ten Types of Human by Dexter Dias if he like non fiction.
the Prize by Daniel Yergin. about the greed, politics in the oil industry.
Get Capone by Johnathan Eig is very good.
Dark Matter by Blake Crouch
Awesome book!
Natchez burning series by Gregg Iles. Husband could not put them down. Start with 1st one “ The Quiet Game “.
Oldie, but goodie. Rogue Warrior by Richard Marchinko
MY husband’s favourite author is Clive Cussler
My dad loves James Lee Burke and Clive Cussler.

Tom Brokaw’s The Greatest Generation.
My husband likes Hampton Sides’ historical non-fiction.
My husband just read the Witch of DelRay by Karen Dybis and Terror of Champions by Tom Stanton and really enjoyed both. They are more documentary style.
Unbroken if he likes historical memoirs. Also The Boys in the Boat. Same genre.
There’s a few books with the title unbroken! do you have the author?

You know, men can read the same books that women read….
They surely can! However he isn’t interested in what I read.. so I wanted a man’s outlook! ?
Or a spouse or daughter based on what’s posted above! Do you have any recommendations to go with your comment? ?

My dad was a merchant mariner and sailor. He loved C.S. Forester’s books (Hornblower).
Thanks for posting. I am always looking for authors for my husband. I sometimes like the books he likes, he often would not like my books. I plan to save this thread.

Anything by Lee Child. Not a series but they are all centered around the same character… Jack Reacher. Ex military…6’4″ with hands the size of basketballs. Lol. Anyway… everyone I’ve recommended these books to love them…. men and women.
