I’ve made a prediction via PM to @Jill about a very sneaky twist I think might come into it. She’s my witness if I prove to be right, but I’m not revealing it as it would be a spoiler if I am 🙂

Me neither Betsy. Too busy writing on an evening. I do have The Replacement saved to hopefully watch in one go over the holidays though 🙂

IT would be absolutely brilliant as a book series too! As good as Bennett!

2
Malcolm

@Susan Thank you Susan. If Bennett was made for TV I’d have to buy one!! 😉

This series has been SO good, I like the exploration into how women may or may not be treated differently too, an interesting sub theme ?

Actress Thandie Newton was so good on the series Westworld where she played a saloon harlot. Now she’s bringing that talent to Line of Duty. She’s worth watching.

I hope that Arnott is not dead, I like him!

I fear he is…. it’s the Jed Mercurio style. I like him too.

Lesley

I bet he isn’t 😉

But I don’t give a lot for young Jamie’s chances. Whenever they bring in a new actor, they’ve usually the first to get it. Like Georgia in the last series.

Thandie Newton is v good. Does the shrivelling look every but as well as Keeley Hawes in S2 & 3.

By all means post about how wonderful Line of Duty is and I concur, I just love it, but please don’t give the ending away, certainly not only the day after!

Hope Steve Arnott is still alive. It is the best crime series on TV.

If you haven’t watched it DON’T CHECK POSTS ABOUT IT! Simple! You can’t expect people not to talk about it.

Most of Twitter managed it last night, they talked about the episode but didn’t mention the important names.

Most of twitter? Have a look at the #LineOfDuty tweets! Social media is like the water cooler/photocopier: people talk about everything that interests them. You can’t silence people on social media any more than IRL

I hope that when he wakes up from his coma he’s bizarrely talking in a (I.e. his own) Scottish accent. Love the show but that accent is appalling ?
