Do the audiobook. So many characters all read by a different person.

I’m probably the last of a dying breed, but I still love a real book. Can’t bring myself to go the audio route when it comes to books ?

I still read with my eyes too ?, but love listening while I drive and sew.

My favorite book this year, but it is not for everyone. I have friends who hate it.

The graveyard where Pres. Lincoln’s son is buried.

Sorry, but really didn’t like it. Hated the style and was quite disappointed.

It took a while, but I wound up liking it. It will help if you google it and read about it before starting it.

Loved, loved this book. I had to do some research because it did not make sense to me in the beginning. Brilliantly written!

It sounds so interesting but when I picked it up at the bookstore, the format scared me! Lol!

I checked it out from the library and just couldn’t make myself attempt it. I chickened out. ?

My book club just finished this book. I enjoyed it, mainly because the writing was so unexpected and different than anything else I’ve read in many years. I did not hear many positive comments from the other readers, however. I agree that a little bit of research helped me understand this piece, and if you do read it, try to let the first couple of chapters just slide on by, you’ll gain more understanding as you get deeper into the book.

The audiobook has about 100 different voice actors on it, and the two main ones are Nick Offerman and David Sedaris. Needless to say it is great.

I enjoyed it, but the format is different. I can see where someone might not like that.

I’d heard a few fabulous interviews with George Saunders so perhaps knew what to expect. Started it two days ago and love it. Can’t wait to get back to it each day. The most unusual book I’ve ever read but very moving.

George Saunders is coming to the Midtown Scholar Bookstore in Harrisburg on 2/9, if anybody else is nearby.

George Saunders’ style just isn’t for me. Didn’t like Lincoln and didn’t like his short stories either.
