Reading it now for my book club, I’m just not able to get into yet. I’ve heard so many mixed things about it too. I would like to finish, but for the first time in my life that is extremely difficult! I don’t know if I’ll be able to get through it!
So interesting to see these mixed, but George is a different writer. I liked the dual perspectives and since I love historical fiction, I loved the historic references illuminating the presidency at the time. A lot of similarities to present day ideas.
