Soooo good! I’m catching up on my Netgalley books this week. I hope you love it!

1
Ryan

What’s it about? The synopsis I’ve read seems a little vague.

0
Kirsti

@Ryan basically it’s Earth but we share it with a variety of paranormal creatures; things like werewolves, dryads, firebirds etc are normal, and some might be living next door. But when America experiences what they call ‘The Reaping’ the cryptids are blamed and become less than animals; you can legally hunt, torture and own them despite their human like emotions etc.

Iffah

@Lisa-Marie i am even more deeply in love with Numair. hahah

1
Lisa-Marie

@Iffah Funnily enough, it’s the first Tamora Pierce book I’ve ever read, but I adored it so much, I’m going to read more of hers!

0
Iffah

@Lisa-Marie if I may suggest, I would suggest reading The Immortal series. I have loved each and every one of Tamora Pierce’s series. Have fun!

1
Lisa-Marie

@Iffah Thank you! I have bought Alanna so far (it was on sale on Kindle) but I have The Immortal Series on my wishlist!

1
Iffah

@Lisa-Marie I started with Alanna too!! I enjoyed her series, but I really began to *love* Tortall with the Immortals. And then I read the Trickster Choice series, and Beka Cooper. Loved them all. I rather envy you, I wish I could go back and rediscover the Tortal universe!! I hope you enjoy yourself. 🙂

1
Lisa-Marie

Thank you! I’m excited to read them all – I love discovering ‘new’ (to me) authors whose writing I really love!

1
Iffah

@Lisa-Marie You’re welcome!

1
Iffah

@Lisa-Marie I think I’ll reread the Alanna series. Just to go back from the beginning. 🙂

1

0
Alba

@Fatima i cant wait to see what she does with 38 yrs old vhalla

1
Fatima

Alba Murataj Yeah. And how she handles

((((SPOILER))))

the deal with north.

1
Fatima

Though she said those who haven’t read Air Awakens can still understand the sequel series but I don’t see how. There will be major Air Awakens spoilers with the deal and everything.

1
Alba

@Fatima Im curious bout that too. She said the series was focusing on their daughter. All I am wondering now is she is the one that lived in the North or her twin (which we still dont know the gender of!!!)

1
Fatima

@Alba Ikr. I need the book now. ?Hurry up Elise. Also, we probably shouldn’t mention SPOILERS here since Jess just started the book.

0
Alba

@Fatima True but still i need that sequel like right freaking now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1
Alba

to think we have to wait for september of next year. My heart breaks?

1
Lisa-Marie

I know, it was bad enough when he initially delayed it to November this year, when he announced it would be September next year, I thought I was going to die!!!

1
Randi

Okay this is the second time I have heard that this is the best book ever lol apparently I need to read it. Does it end in a cliff hanger? I had those endings with uncompleted series!

1
Alba

no cliffhanger on the first book, second book is a mild cliffhanger but nothing big, more like what is going to happen next not are they alive alive or not third book coming next september
