Not too small, not too large! 🙂 Small enough to be easily brought along and large enough not to be annoying to read 😀

I prefer large paperbacks, but if a title I want to read is only available in a small version then that is how it is. 🙂

I like the paperbacks that are the same size as a hardback. I suppose that would be considered large.

Small paperback?
Large paperback?
Is it a book that looks interesting? If so doesn’t matter much truefully. 🙂
Tho it is easier to sneak a small paperback to the bathroom with you at work without being caught.

Love the matte finish of the newer ones, but paying $15-20 for a paperback makes me cringe. The smaller ones make travelling w/ a book so much easier, as well.

Are you talking about soft paperbacks vs mass market paperbacks? If so, I prefer mass market for true crime books and softbacks for fiction.

Great question. I looked it up for us.

A mass market paperback (MMP) is a small, usually non-illustrated, and inexpensive bookbinding format.

The “paperback” formats have a larger page size, similar to the hardcover versions – 6″x9″. … Trade paperbacks are typically priced less than hardcover books and higher than mass market

Best best of both worlds. I downloaded the Kindle app. It’s free and you make the font size as you wish. I have access to hundreds of books at a moment’s notice. Great for that unexpected traffic jam.

Paperbacks are meant for portability, at least for me. So, the smaller the better. Although with age, that may be turn into a reading problem, or lack thereof glasses. 😉

For those, like me, that aren’t sure what the difference is. I looked it up. The difference between paperbacks vs mass produced paperbacks is a mass market paperback (MMP) is a small, usually non-illustrated, and inexpensive bookbinding format.
