I KNOW! But that is how I discovered Sanderson! I asked for book recommedations while we wait forever for book 3…
I too found Sanderson that way?. Now I’ve read almost all of his books. Have you read “Cephrael’s hand by Melissa Mcphail? There’s 4 books out now but she cranking them out pretty quick. It was quite enjoyable

I really enjoyed the Riddle-Master books by McKillip, but Sanderson and Rothfuss are my favorites.. I haven’t had time lately to get to the other books that have been recommended to me!
Loved all these. Sanderson is one of the best. All of his books and he writes fast and keep you completely updated on his progress. And cephraels hand is great too!!
I still need to read The Wise Man’s Fear and Slow Regard..
I enjoyed Slow Regard but it’s so so different from the other two books..

That’s funny, I just commented on another post from someone who won’t start unfinished series. I’m generally not like that but I’ve avoided Kingkiller as I’m not convinced he will ever finish the third book. Once I start I have to see it to the end and it would be torture.
It is torture… but it’s still really really really good….
But are the ones he’s written good enough as a stand alone book or is it just going to leave me longing for an ending that may never come?
I really am longing for the ending, but I enjoyed them enough that I don’t regret reading them…. So I don’t have a good answer for you! Sorry!
The kingkiller chronicles is getting the world class movie/tv/gamer treatment and Lin manual Miranda is going to be involved! So I really hope he doesn’t pull and game of thrones and not go ish the third book first. Lol
But honestly I think he will definitely finish it before everything.
