The Kate Shackleton series by Frances Brody. Excellent reads.
Test Gerritsen’s Rizzoli and Isles books are pretty good.
Kay scarpetta novels are great, start at 1!
Are these available in the kindle app ive been trying to purchase them but i dont see that option and when i look at some of the reviews they say kindle edition so i got confused

I just started a Which is When by Adele Abbott. The whole series is free on Kindle. Main character is a female PI. So far so good.

One Step Ahead by Denver Murphy. The main detective is Stella Johnson and she is fire-y, exciting, independent but not with baggage like you often see with these books

I don’t even like mysteries that much but this series (dead) and the stand alone ( Body Reader) are very good 🙂

Also has you read the No 1 ladies detective agency by Alexander McCall Smith. Less of the whodunnit and more just gorgeous stories about life in Botswana
