I like it, but I think that twist that comes about a third of the way through is a distraction and doesn’t really do much for the story. It totally threw me, and I had to work to get back into the story.
I was confused too, I went back and kept re reading it because I was sure I missed something, but when it all finally clicked and she explained more I actually enjoyed it and liked that they threw in such a big twist… I just wish they had done it in a better way than making the reader feel like they’re crazy lol
Can i make a suggestion whilst i’m here?,i really enjoyed reading “Anything Considered” By Peter Mayle,it was captivating,atmospheric and exciting,i immersed myself in it and highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to escape the norm for a time..
I am Definitely in the minority when I ask people about this book but I got bored very quickly. I didn’t think the voicee in the book room very interesting… I can’t remember any more specifics than that because it’s been a while but I did not finish it. … And I really wanted to love it. I really wanted a page turner at the time I got it.
