@Suzie Hahaha! Yes, I remember when I got it from the library, there was a wait list, so I had 2 weeks to read it, and since I’m such a slow reader, I thought I’d start it, then get back on the wait list, but it’s so fast-going that I read it in less than a week! (record for slow-going me!) I made my hubby read it too. Then, I went to a local used book store to see if they had it, and it was “funny” b/c I felt like Beck in the beginning — a male employee approached me to ask if I needed any help. Yes, he was a cutie, so it was weird b/c that’s all I could thing of! ? Do you plan on watching the series on Lifetime? I have mixed feelings. (I don’t want to be disappointed but I’m sure it’ll be ruined.)
@Leslie I currently don’t have cable, but I will watch it if I can. I like to read the book first before watching the series. I did that with Game of Thrones. I would probably be done with it now but I’m also reading “the Secret History of Wonder Woman” by Jill Lepore
