I loved the audiobooks for His Dark Materials series. There was a full cast doing the voices of the characters and I believe the author narrated.
Oh that would be good since I read half of the first one years ago and forgot most of it.

Most libraries offer some sort of audio book app. Mine has overdrive and hoopla!
I’m using Audible but Overdrive is great. You just need a library card to use it.
I just started using overdrive but seriously everything had a waiting list! Is that the library then since it’s through the library card? I put my name on a few lists to wait but was bummed I couldn’t just jump into what I wanted!
That is the downfall to overdrive. If your library offers hoopla then you can borrow anything anytime no wait. It just limits your checkouts to I believe 10 a month

Yep. When you go to “get started” or set up an account it asks for your library and you just go from there!

Hoopla has been great to me ? if you can get your hands on the audio of Gentleman’s guide to Vice and Virtue I would recommend! It was one I after for a long time then hoopla saved me!! ? But def try any of the apps your library offers I’m not about paying for audios or much for books in general and honestly get on the wait list and listen to something else in the mean time the libraries are very good about getting you your books! I’m a huge advocate for the library and their resources ? #supernerd

Lol no problem I love my local library same goes for the physical books. You should check if they have an online site then you can look up whether or not you can ship the books you want from other libraries to yours I do this lot if I can’t find them on the shelf. Beware it can be dangerous I’ve walked out with 8+ books bc of everything I just had to read ?
Omg I had no clue you could do that! I was bummed bc when I went for the first time I looked for 4 different books and couldn’t find any of them! So good to know!

Ooh listen to the Percy Jackson and the Olympians on audiobook! Even if you already read the series a hundred tines, the audiobook is soo much fun!!
