One of the best books I’ve read I used to live in owatonna mn where the state orphanage was located the book is really a sad piece of children’s history

@Karen Interesting. Books like this and Orphan Train and Atomic Girls are eye-opening. These are things we never saw in the history books in school.

Agreed Maureen @Melissa I am hooked on Historical Fiction because it gives a good mixture of a history lesson and the pleasure of a novel.
