I could not put that book down! I later found out that my dad’s grandpa (or great grandpa??) was actually an orphan from the orphan train!

Good book. I also reccommend The Chaperone which is another look at this subject and a really good story.
Great book ! When it first came out the author came to our bookclub with a great presentation about that era.

Agreed Maureen @Melissa I am hooked on Historical Fiction because it gives a good mixture of a history lesson and the pleasure of a novel.
