I’m just finishing The Perfect Friend” by Barbara Copperthwaite..it’s a page turner. It’s a psychological thriller.

Yes – loved it. The writing was pure brilliance in places, and the characters were just heartbreaking. So well done.

Yes @Sissy Really good. Often hard to read. LOTS of issues there from personal to social to political. Sometimes very sad. But I learned a lot. And reading, to me, doesn’t always have to be relaxing. Some books just flat out make us THINK and I like that
