I enjoyed this book. I think that the reason some readers were critical of this book, is because of the setting. It takes awhile to get into the backward environment and the poverty of the character. It seems shallow when in reality, this is a deep novel.
Just finished it myself …. I wasn’t sure after reading the first 20 pages if it was for me or if I could stand the grammer….. but I AM SOOOO GLAD I pushed on!!! what I would of missed…..Great story and would so recommend!!!!
I loved the story but did not like the way it was written–I hate it whe a book jumps back in time the back to the story–was a bit disapointed
I loved it also and I love books that go back and forth in time. It’s not for everyone though.
