It came in as a hold at my public library. We can add authors as favorites & it puts you on the hold list. Began reading thinking it was the follow up to Year One. Didn’t take long to realize it’s a stand alone. I’ve read some comments that suggest a trigger warning for those who might have experienced situations like the book.

I saw the same. I found it easy to read with a smooth delivery. She never needs hyperbole to deliver her point. You are caught up in it. Great characters. And they are survivors.
