Didn’t take long to realize it’s a stand alone. I’ve read some comments that suggest a trigger warning for those who might have experienced situations like the book.
I saw the same. I found it easy to read with a smooth delivery. She never needs hyperbole to deliver her point. You are caught up in it. Great characters. And they are survivors.

I love her. I’m saving that one for my vacation.
She used to be one of my faves, I’ll have to look for this one, and get back into reading her books.
She used to be one of my favorite writers but her books became too predictable. I’ll have to try this one.
