Love Peter James. Read all his books. I like the way his personal evolves as well thats why I think it best to read in order if you can

Yes definitely. The background stories help the books evolve. Roy’s missing wife, Glens home life, Norman Pottings problems! I’m amazed there hasn’t been a TV series ?

Are there no stand alone novels?

@Pat He has wrote quite a few books some going back a while but they were not detective stories. Do not be put off by reading the Grace stories in order
