By reading something simple and short to refresh the pallet lol. Usually a contemporary or YA romance.

Similar to @Brandi I read something that is the complete opposite of what I just finished and maybe lighter. Chick lit, romance or a mystery usually.

Sit listlessly in a corner staring at the book that caused the hangover

It depends on the hangover. Sometimes, I can just read something similar and be okay. Then there are times where I can’t touch books for weeks. Those are the times I revisit some of my favorites. Now I Rise was AMAZING!! I’m going to die waiting for the next book.

Re-read some favourites that won’t let me down. Usually clears it up fast

I usually watch something. A new show or an old favorite. Then I don’t read for a day or so. And then I try to read something within the same genre so I don’t feel totally disconnected from the book.

Sometimes I throw myself into fanfiction, it maybe start on something, show or book, with a whole different feel to it.

Don’t read for a day or two. Then pick up a favorite or a light, fun book.
