I have just finished Little Fires Everywhere, so l wanted to read something completely different, this time . I also have Beneath A Scarlet Sky waiting to be read.
I’m 20% in and enjoying it. There’s two stories running parallel. The description is beautiful but you will realise why as you read it

@Sandy there is no movie. I think Gillian is thinking of The Light Between Oceans maybe.
@Sandy, I’ve looked for it, too. I don’t think it is available in the United States yet.

Sandy Hoenecke, Amanda, and Tricia yes, you are right, I was thinking of the light between the oceans. ‘All the light we cannot see’ would make an amazing movie (there isn’t one yet- but it has been optioned for ‘Fox-searchlight ?!) I loved all the light we cannot see – have tissues ready! I haven’t enjoyed his other books as much though.

Great read.
I listened on audible, and loved it. Pay attention to the year in each chapter. It skips around a bit, so if you aren’t keeping track of what the year is, it can get a tiny bit confusing. The writing is gorgeous.
