So far only read all books of Clifton chronicles and couldn’t put them down! I consider them very good and covering a variety of themes and subjects with enjoyable writing and keeping you hooked on the story!
Kane and Abel and The prodigal daughter were one of his early books and they are fantastic. The only problem is that you have to read his series in other because you will get lost. Enjoy.
@Nancy, Maybe I don’t know the whole story, but what I heard was once the fraud was brought to light he resigned from the House of Commons and began writing in order to pay the debts that his creditors had suffered. Seems to me that he paid his debt to society. Time to forgive his foolishness and deceit and enjoy his writing. You don’t want to miss this talent!!
@Jan Hah! No, I never said I wouldn’t continue to read his books. I can’t imagine what horrible things other authors have done, but that doesn’t take away their writing talent. I was just curious, Googled it, and agree that he has paid his debt to society. We all make mistakes.
@Nancy… I realize you didn’t say that. I was just making a general statement because of what the other gal said. Wouldn’t want anyone to miss his wonderful books.
Ohh yes def. Start with Kane & Able.
