I usually say the 5th. But I’m currently rereading the series and I gotta say that the second book is highly underrated.

Prisoner of Azkaban is the best book and movie in my opinion. However, I really loved Goblet if Fire the book only.
But in all honesty, the books never lost their magic, they were all good.

I used to when I was younger it was Prisoner of Azkaban. But I am rereading them and as an adult I have to say the 5th one is my favorite. It’s the book I see as giving MANY of the characters dimensions that were hiding (due to the first 2 being classified as MG)

I can’t pick. All of them are so good for different reasons. If I had to pick, I guess the first one because it sets the story in motion.
