Pretty much you cannot go wrong with any! She’s an amazing writer. Only ones I’ve not enjoyed were Tenth Circle, Leaving Time and Lone Wolf. The Pact was the first I read of hers…probably near on 20 years ago and I was hooked!

I can’t stand her books. Only read if you want to cry or get angry or frustrated characters. People falsely accused of crimes and put to death, children born just to be used to keep another child alive? No thanks, the non-fiction world is hard enough to navigate without losing your mind, why read fiction about it?

Then why did you continue to read them? If I don’t like an author I just move on.

One author I keep trying to like because she has so many fans but I just can’t. I dislike her choice of topics which are straight from whatever is currently in the news and find her writing like chalk on a blackboard only worse. But that’s just me.

The first I ever read of hers was her most recent: A Spark of Light. I thought it was so amazing I grabbed Small Great Things off the BN Bargain table in hardback. Now collecting older issues from bargain, thrift and library. I think just grab the first one you can get your hands on. For me – I’m hooked!

They’re almost all fabulous. Some better than others, but all worth reading. I too liked My Sister’s Keeper very very much I had resisted it for a long time because I’ve worked 30 years in health care, but my husband brought it home for me once. Intriguing story, keeps you wondering till the very end where she has a genius of a twist
