Delirium (dystopian romance and it reads so well on audio book)

The Selection series is a MUST if you haven’t read it, dystopian romance kinda comparable to The Bachelor but in a good way.

The Maze Runner was also a really good audio book imho… dystopian, male, hunger games type story. Really cool.

The Maze Runner is my favorite series! ?

Kalli

@Caroline it’s definitely at the top of my list. A really underrated series in my opinion

@Kalli Right?! So many people don’t like it and so many people prefer the movies (which suck btw) over the book, and it makes me so mad 4 years later (even though I’m going to see the death cure but shhh) ??

@Caroline I didn’t mind the movies but I do think they failed to catch the real essence of the book. I still watch them too but they coulda done so much better

Caroline

@Kalli I liked the second movie more than the first, although I think the first was more accurate (keyword MORE) I liked what they did with the second one. That’s the difference.

Hoping the third is better than the first two, considering how long we had to wait.

I was so curious of how they would portray the infected. I wish they’d been less zombie-like though.

Not YA, but Gizelle’s Bucket List was read by the author and I loved it. A memoir about a girl and her mastiff. I don’t know how she read it without crying because I was legitimately bawling at times.

I don’t listen to audiobooks, but I heard Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff is a pretty good audiobook.

Neil Gaimen’s are amazing just for his voice alone haha, Stalking Jack the Ripper, Hunting Prince Dracula and Illuminae are good

Is Audible different from Audio book app? I just downloaded it a few days ago and totally don’t understand it. If anyone has the app can you please explain! I understand it’s a monthly fee… I find that everytime I try to download a book it says I don’t have credits.. not sure what that means ha

The Leviathan series by Scott Westerfeld. Audiobook by Alan Cumming. I went through all the books twice. I also would recommend an adult series by Jim Butcher Dresden Files.

If you are looking for popular YA/NA I suggest the A Court of Thorns and Roses or Throne of Glass series by Sarah J Maas (If you haven’t already read these two amazing series! They are beyond my favorite of all time!) But if you are looking for a gem that is YA/Adventure and not common but ooooohhhhh soooo good! I recommend the Sovereign of the Seven Isles series by David A Wells. The male voice actor does an exceptional job on it and I loved it!
