Mr Mercedes series – thrillers with a bit of weirdness!
The Stand, Under the Dome, Rose Madder are 3 of my faves but you’d be hard pressed to get a bad one tbh
First one I read, Thinner. Went on to read as many as I could.
I started with Cujo followed by Pet Sematary
Salem’s Lot, The Stand, Carrie, 11/22/63.
Carrie was my first book by him
I just recently read my first Stephen King book too, Joyland. It’s more suspense than horror and is an excellent coming of age story as well. I really loved it.
Start with the first, Carrie, and read them all chronologically.
Revival, Mr. Mercedes or IT. Revival was my first Stephen King book, and his 63rd. lol Also: Dolores Claiborne & Misery… they also have excellent movie adaptations! 😀
Misery is a good one to start with.
The Stand and Four Seasons
